Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. HGC 4 1597; SNG Cop. 31; Gulbenkian 519-21; Kroll 8. AR. 17.29 g. 27.00 mm. A spectacular example. Wonderful compact portrait style, showing full crest. Sharply struck on a broad flan. Minor traces of smoothing. A few almost invisible hairline crackings on Athena's neck and chin. About FDC.
