Nilus reclining right, leaning on rock, holding reed and cornucopiae, on which two children are climbing; to right, hippopotamus standing left among reeds; crocodile below. RIC II 863. AE. 22.97 g. 33.00 mm. R. Rare and fascinating “Travel series” issue. Superb portrait. Toned orichalcum surfaces. Some corrosion on reverse, otherwise good VF/VF.
