Julius Caesar and C. Clovius. Bronze, end 46-early 45 BC. Obv. CAESAR DIC TER. Draped bust of Victory right. Rev. C CLOVI-PRAEF. Minerva, standing left, holding trophy, spear and shield decorated with gorgoneion; at her feet, snake. Cr. 476/1a; B. (Clovia) 11. AE. 13.72 g. 28.00 mm. R. Rare. Perfectly centred reverse, from a masterky engraved die. Light green patina. Corrosion spot on obverse and untouched earthen deposits, otherwise good VF/About EF.
