As of today, three specimens of this rare and dangerous forgery are known, all of them featuring a reverse die taken from a brockage drachm: the one in the British Museum (BMC 8), one in the Landesmuseum in Zürich, and this one from the Simonetta Collection. SECV RI TAS P R / S C, Emperor, togate, standing right, clasping hand with soldier; between them, garlanded altar; to right and behind, three more soldiers, holding signa and aquilae. Klawans -. Cast and subsequently reworked with a burin, one of the production techniques documented in Cavino's goldsmith workshop. Splendid Renaissance patina. Very Rare type.

CON SECR ATIO / S C, Empress ascends to the sky on a Victory flying to the right, holding a lit torch. Cfr. RIC III 1132. Cayon 65. Banti III.1, p. 29, n. 56. Struck using the 'transfer dies' technique on a flan from an original ancient sestertius, part of the legend can be seen on the obverse at 5 o’clock. Artificially patinated.
