Roman Empire. Augustus, 27 BC - AD 14. As (Bronze, 26.83 mm, 6.58 g). Rome. Unidentified Moneyer, circa 16-7 BC. [Portrait of Augustus ?], Flat due to excessive wear. Rev. S C, around legend, and four banker's marks depicting a lyre, a running animal a branch, and an epigraph. Holed. Fine. Very Rare with so many banker's marks: they would appear to be symbols used between Segesta and Lilybaeum, Western Sicily.
