Herakles advancing left, right foot on rock, raising club to strike Hydra on ground to left.

Extremely rare
The Lernaean Hydra, born of Echidna and Typhon, was the protagonist of Heracles' second labor. The monster, which lived near the Lerna swamp in Argolis, had the body of a dog, an unknown number of heads (from eight to ten thousand depending on the source, but only one immortal), and breath of fire. Herakles managed to defeat this monster with the help of Athena.
