RIC² 388 (Titus).

Flavia Julia Augusta, known as Iulia Titi, was the only daughter of Emperor Titus and his second wife Marcia Furnilla. Very little is known about her, except that when she was still a child she was presented as the future successor of the Flavian dynasty, since her father, after his second divorce, had not taken another wife and the other women of the family (Domitilla Major and Domitilla Minor) had already died. When Titus came to power, Julia was given the title of Augusta, which was usually attributed to the emperor's wife. Titus proposed to his brother Domitian to marry Julia, but Domitian refused because he was in love with Domitia Longina. Julia therefore married her cousin, Titus Flavius Sabinus. Upon the death of his father (AD 81), Domitian became emperor and, after repudiating Domitia on suspicion of adultery, it seems that he began a relationship with Julia and had Sabinus killed. Julia died in abortion in 90, precluding her from providing an heir to the emperor.
