HN Italy 728; HGC 1 551; SNG ANS 1221; SNG BN 1272. 3.64 g. 16.5 mm. RR. Very rare. Good F/F. The city of Azetium is only known based on the inscriptions of its coinage, consisting of three bronze nominals. This specimen represents the middle-sized coin. The er of grain on reverse suggest an influence from Metapontum.
