Diva Faustina I (died 141 AD). AR Denarius, Rome mint, 141 AD. D/ DIVA FAVSTINA. Draped bust right, hair elaborately waved in several loops round head and drawn up and coiled on top. R/ AVGVSTA. Veiled and draped Ceres standing left, holding two corn-ears downwards in right hand and lighted torch, vertical at her side, in left. RIC III (Ant. P.) 360a. 3.07 g. 19 mm. Lightly toned with warm golden hues. Minor flan nicks. Small scratches on the obverse. Minor encrustations, otherwise. Good VF.
