Plautilla (died 212 AD). AR Denarius, Rome mint, 202-205. D/ PLAVTILLA AVGVSTA. Draped bust right, hair firmly waved and drawn down on neck. R/ VENVS VICTRIX. Venus, naked to waist, standing left, holding apple in extended right hand and palm in left hand, resting left elbow on shield; at feet, left, Cupid. RIC IV (Caracalla) 369. 3.11 g. 19 mm. Appealing fine patina. Some hairlines, otherwise. VF.
