Gallienus (253-268). AE Sestertius, Rome mint, 254 AD. D/ IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS AVG. Laureate and cuirassed bust to right. R/ VIRTVS AVGG / S - C. Virtus (or soldier?) standing facing, head to left, holding spear and shield set on ground. MIR 38dd; RIC V 248. 20 g. 30.5 mm. Light scratch on reverse. Good example unusually well preserved, with solid green patina. Nice portrait. About EF/Good VF.
