R/ COL NEM. Crocodile chained to palm-shoot with tip right; above palm-tip left a wreath with long ties. RIC I (2nd ed.) 155. 13.3 g. 25.5 mm. Rare with countermark. About VF. The letters D D (decreto decurionum=by order of the town council) are found countermarked on numerous civic bronzes of Spain and Gaul, and probably record the re-validation of circulating coinage as the civic coins were gradually being replaced by standard imperial denominations.
