France. Andre Hac.. AE Jeton, no date, minted in Nuremberg
France. Andre Hac. AE Jeton, no date, minted in Nuremberg. Feuardent 2274; Corre 2282. 3.86 g. 27 mm. VF. André Hac was a scribe in the Cour des Monnaies in France.
This token is of German manufacture, not only in style but also in the signature CK (Chilianus Kochuus) of Nuremberg. It is worth noting the humor and mockery of choosing the token of the clerk of the Mint Court as the model for the copies. The reverse type with GALLIA FORTIT will also become a standard for Nuremberg productions.
