GROUP OF TWO IRON SPEARHEADS
Ancient World, possibly Italic or Mediterranean, circa 1st millennium BC.
Lot of two (2) iron spearheads of elongated leaf-shaped form, each with a pronounced central midrib and tapering blade. Both retain the socket for hafting. The larger specimen is long and slender with well-developed midrib; the smaller is more compact but of similar typology. Such spearheads are widely attested across the Mediterranean world during the Iron Age and early historical periods. Surface with green patina and areas of encrustation; minor losses.
