ETRUSCO-CORINTHIAN POINTED ARYBALLOS Etrusco-Corinthian, ca. late 7th–6th century BC. Pointed aryballos with flaring rim, cylindrical neck and elongated fusiform body tapering to a pointed base. The surface is decorated with a frieze of swans in profile, rendered in black with added red and white details, set between horizontal bands. Additional stylised motifs appear on the shoulder and lower body. Black-figure decoration with added red over a light ground. Base broken and pierced in modern times for mounting; now set on a modern plexiglass stand, included. Surface wear, encrustations and areas of flaking consistent with age. Height: 11,65 cm
