This attractive silver tetradrachm was issued by Kassander, acting as regent of Macedon, but bears the name and types of Philip II, aligning his authority with that of Alexander the Great's revered father. The obverse features the laureate head of Zeus, while the reverse shows a spirited youth on horseback, a symbol of Macedonian martial excellence. (P)
