NGC Fine, Strike 4/5, Surface 3/5, with countermark. This SPQR countermark is typically seen on bronze asses of Nero, placed horizontally on the neck, and is generally attributed to application in Gallia Lugdunensis, possibly under Julius Vindex during the revolt, or under Galba, March to June A.D. 68.
