A serious and very useful study of the French gros tournois coinage of the 13th and 14th centuries, bringing together 17 papers first presented at the 14th Oxford Symposium on Coinage and Monetary History. An excellent copy, really in great shape overall, with clean covers, a strong binding, and a fresh, well-kept appearance. The dust jacket has only light shelf wear from handling, and the book presents at about EF quality for a reference work of this age.
