D/ Bust of Christ facing, wearing nimbus , pallium and book of Gospels. R/ Cross with pellets at each extremity, pellets surrounded by smaller pellets around; beneath, large crescent. Undertype: IS-XC bAS-ILE bAS-ILE. Legend in three lines divided by cross set on three steps. Sear 1900 on 1823. AE. 5.42 g. 28.5 mm. Interesting study piece. VF.
