Inoltre, le sue impronte sono quelle tipiche delle monete coeve ed il peso si avvicina al valroe da 6 o 7 tarì anche se c'è una certa variabilità. Insomma, ci sono ragioni valide sia per l'attribuzione come moneta che come gettone o medaglia. Rimane il fatto che si tratta di una emissione affascinante e molto rara nella storia della numismatica maltese. qFDC/SPL

This typology is also presented as a token, but due to the state of preservation of the known examples, it is very likely that it was in circulation as a real coin. Furthermore, its imprints are those typical of contemporary coins and the weight is close to the value of 6 or 7 tarì, although there is some variability. In short, there are valid reasons both for the attribution as a coin and as a token or medal.
