Flesche 305; Kellner type II E; LT 9436. AV. 7.56 g. 17 mm. RR. Very rare. About VF. The defeat of the Gaulish tribe Vindelici at Vercellae against the Romans in 101 BC marked a significant event during the Roman expansion. This clash not only halted the advance of migrating tribes but also solidified Roman control over the region.
