Nero to Hadrian.  Vespasian (69-79). Judaea, Ascalon. AE 15 mm. year 180 = 76-77 AD, countermarked by the Legio X Fretensis. D/ Draped bust of Tyche right, wearing turreted crown and veil; X within incuse countermark. R/ War galley right, with oars; above, ΠP/AΣ (date). Cf.: RPC II, 2205. Rosenberg 55. Cf. Hendin 1611. AE. g. 3.69 mm. 15.00 RR. Very rare. Reddish-brown and dark green patina. F. The Legio X Fretensis played a significant role during the First Jewish War and remained stationed in the region until the 4th century.
