Head of Athena facing slightly right, wearing pearl necklace and triple-crested helmet decorate with laurel wreath.        Rev.   Barley ear; META upwards to left, cross-torch to right.     HN Italy 1682; Johnston, Bronze 46.     4.26 g.   16.50 mm.        Outstanding coin, in the highest state of preservation for a bronze. Lovely warm brown patina.    About FDC.
