Quadripartite incuse square; Σ-Y-P-A in quarters; small female head left in deeper incuse circle in centre (Arethousa?).     HGC 2 1289; SNG ANS 350; Rizzo pl. 48, 7.     0.65 g.   11 mm.      RR.  Contemporary forgery, of the highest interest. This coin still preserves traces of gilt covering the silver alloy core.    Good VF.
