For Honeymoon. Obv. DIE HOCHZEITSREISE. Scene of the newly-weds embarking on their honeymoon. Rev. Incuse of the obverse; emblem of the maker: an angel surrounded by MADE IN W. GERMANY. 149 g. 137 mm. A rare collector's item.
Diameter including the original suspension loop. Diameter without the loop is 125 mm. Good VF. This wall plaques were a popular decor in the 1950s in West-Germany. There are several series recorded, usually four pieces around a theme. They were hanged by a broad embroidered or elaborately woven ribbon.
