740 - Steel die made by an unknown Persian jeweler, imitating a rupee struck in the name of Shah ‘Alam II. Bengal Presidency period, circa 19th century (Steel, 29 × 30 mm, upper diameter 29 mm, 139.87 g.). Beautiful patina, with a cross engraved on the sloping edge.
