Baboon amulets probably were offerings to shrines honoring Thoth, but could also have been placed with the deceased as a representative of the deity who recorded Osiris' judgment.

Lot # 995 - MINERVA BRONZE STATUETTE Roman period, c. 1st-3rd century AD. Bronze statuette from the Roman era depicting a female figure with a high-crested helmet (Minerva?). Dimensions: 68.5 x 27.0 mm. 43.01 g. Intact, with its untouched green patina. Missing item in the right hand, otherwise complete. The attribution to Minerva depends on the presence of the helmet, however it is a very unusual representation for this divinity. The pose is typical of the offerers, as the left hand holds a long dress, while the right hand is extended, as if holding an object that is currently missing. The armour, often present in depictions of Minerva, is also missing.

The engraving represents a helmeted Minerva standing right, with a spear behind her and leaning on the shield with her right hand; with her left hand she holds the Palladium. Lot # 1011 - ROMAN LEAD HEAD Roman period, c. 2nd-4th century AD. Lead plaque in the shape of a female head (?) with both faces in relief. The grotesque features suggest a deliberately ugly caricature The characteristics are rendered with a beak nose, big eyes on a narrow face with a long neck. Dimensions: 41 x 25 mm. Hollow and a cracked area (see the pictures above), otherwise very well preserved.
