Terms of sale - Aurora Heritage Web Auction 1
By bidding and registering in Aurora Heritage LLC auctions, you accept these terms conditions of participation in the auction.
Bidders must register on the website www.biddr.com at least 12 hours before the start of the auction and must be approved by the auctioneer.
The auction takes place in United States Dollar (USD) with the addition of an auction fee of 20% on the hammer price, plus shipping. Free shipping for the first auction for the purchases over 100$ per invoice. Only for deliveries in UAE, the final price (hammer price, auction fee, shipping and insurance costs) for silver and bronze coins and medals is increased by VAT of 5%. Gold coins are VAT exempt. No UAE value added tax shall be levied where auction lots are shipped to a foreign country.
Taxes and charges of any kind levied abroad are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Compliance with foreign customs and exchange regulations etc. is the responsibility of the buyer. Aurora Heritage LLC expressly disclaims responsibility for any consequences that may arise from contravention of such regulations.
The final price is due after adjudication. The right of ownership is acquired by the purchaser only upon settlement of the invoice. Late payments of 30 days or more will be subject to interest of 1% per month and an additional administration fee. Offers below the starting price shall be ignored.
Each bidder undertakes to be personally liable for the purchase made. The bidder cannot claim to have acted on behalf of a third party.
Any offer made is binding and cannot be revoked. The bidder shall be bound by its bid until the latter is overtaken by another bid or rejected by Aurora Heritage LLC. Aurora Heritage LLC reserves the right at its own discretion to refuse any participant from participating in the auction without stating a reason.
The authenticity of the auction items is guaranteed.
The description of the objects and their state of preservation are given in good faith to the best of our knowledge and belief. Bidders have the opportunity to inform themselves about the condition of the lots, in person or through a representative, during the viewing days. Lots can be viewed at our offices by appointment.
Coins that have been encapsulated ("slabbed") by a grading and/or authentication service may not be returned for any reason, including authenticity.
The right to claim warranty is granted to the buyer only and can not be assigned to third parties. The assertion of the warranty claim requires the buyer to give notice of defect to Aurora Heritage LLC by registered letter immediately after discovery of the defect, within 8 days of receipt of the goods, and the forged auction item must be returned to Aurora Heritage LLC in the same condition as it was handed over to the buyer, unencumbered by third party claims. The buyer must, at his own expense, provide proof that the auction item is a forgery. Aurora Heritage LLC may require the buyer to seek the opinion of two independent experts recognized in the field, at the buyer's own expense; however, Aurora Heritage LLC is not bound by such opinion and reserves the right to seek additional expert advice at its own expense.
Justified complaints will be considered up to 8 days after receipt of the items. In case of legitimate complaints, the claims of the buyer are limited to the refund of the purchase price and premiums paid by the buyer on delivery of the auction item to the auctioneer. Any other or further claims of the buyer against the auctioneer are excluded.
Shipping of the awarded pieces will be at the expense of the purchaser after full payment of the invoice.
The sending of auction lots to the Islamic Republic of Iran, to the Ukraine and the Russian Federation is not available.
The Court of jurisdiction for all proceedings is Dubai, UAE.

INFORMATIONS FOR US CUSTOMER ON THE CURRENT STATUS OF US TARIFFS
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sent the following written confirmation about International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA)
HTSUS 9705 - including all its subheadings (which cover coins of numismatic interest) - is recognised as “informational material”.
This means that no duties or tariffs currently apply to coins of numismatic interest when properly declared.
Please be aware that this information represents the current interpretation, and we cannot guarantee that CBP will not update its stance in the future.
