A bronze drachm of large size surveyed only by Dattari, from whose famous collection, by RPC III and by Emmett, so it can be considered the only known specimen. Solemn and realistic is the bust on the obverse, while on the reverse we find the unusual pair of Alexandria crowning Rome, as if to signify Alexandria greeting the emperor whose visit to Egypt in 108-109 AD is hypothesised, at a time when various monuments (triumphal arch, nymphaeum-fountain, etc.) were erected in town. Coin of special historical and numismatic interest.
