Sicily. Syracuse. Second Democracy, circa 420-415 BC. Hemilitron or Hexonkion. (Silver, 11.45 mm, 0.59 g). Head of the nymph Arethusa right, wearing a pearl necklace with her hair bound in ampyx and sakkos; border of dots. Rev. Four-spoked wheel with two pellets in each of three quarters, ΣY within the fourth section; all within shallow incuse circle. Boehringer 713 (V348/R487, same dies). E.
