BRONZE DRESS PIN WITH TWISTED SHAFT
Late Bronze Age, Urnfield Culture, 9th–7th century BC.
Cast bronze dress pin with a large hemispherical knob head and a long shaft, partly twisted to create a pronounced spiral effect. The lower section remains plain and tapers to a point. Pins of this type were used as dress fasteners and are characteristic of the Urnfield cultural horizon of Late Bronze Age Europe.
A well-preserved example with clearly defined spiral decoration and an attractive dark patina.
