Cast bronze socketed axe head with a slightly flaring blade and a lateral loop for securing the haft. The body is elongated and gently curved, with a smooth surface and subtle casting seams visible.
Axes of this type are characteristic of the Urnfield cultural horizon and were widely used across central Europe during the Late Bronze Age, both as tools and, in some cases, as items of exchange.
The surface shows an even dark patina with minor wear.
