Central Italian, possibly Etruscan, c. 4th–2nd century BC.

Small bronze appliqué in the form of a frontal male head with stylised facial features, prominent nose and schematic beard. Suspension hole above the forehead. Likely originally attached to furniture, a vessel, or harness equipment.

Green patina with encrustations. Surface wear consistent with age.
