BLACK-GLAZED LEKANE WITH LID

Black-glazed terracotta lekane with matching lid. The vessel features a broad, rounded body resting on a low ring foot, with a slightly everted rim designed to receive the lid. The lid is domed with a wide, flat knob and decorated with simple reserved bands.
The surface is covered in a dark black glaze, now worn in places, revealing the underlying orange clay. Minor chipping and surface abrasion consistent with age.
