Rare as such. EF/About EF. For the sake of caution, we have described the corn-ear as being off flan rather than absent from the die. However, a recognized variety, catalogued as RRSC D146B (R4) and identified as “unique” by Crawford, is characterized by the absence of the corn-ear.
