Winged caduceus; on left, CEST·EX·S·C; on right, M·PLAETORI. Cr. 405/3b; B. (Plaetoria) 6. 3.90 g. 17.50 mm. Scarce. Sound metal and full weight. A superb example of an issue among the most beautiful of the Roman Republican silver series. Sharply srtuck, perfectly centred and superb, with underlying luster. Good EF.
