Diva Faustina I, wife of Antoninus Pius (died 141 AD). AR Denarius. Struck under Antonius Pius, after 141 AD. Obv. DIVA FAVSTINA. Draped bust right, hair coiled on top of the head. Rev. AVGVSTA. Throne, on which is a wreath with a sceptre in front. RIC III (A. Pius) 377; C. 1\31. AR. 3.19 g. 18.00 mm. An outstanding example, brilliant and lightly toned, with golden hues. Virtually as struck. Good EF.
