The volume offers a broad overview of the medals commemorating the journeys of the Pontiffs from Paul VI to Pope Francis (1963–2021) and is enriched by a Presentation by Prof. Bernardino Mirra, an introduction by Dr. Roberto Ganganelli, and a contribution by Maestro Loredana Pancotto.
A total of 315 medals are catalogued and photographed in color. Each medal is reproduced, both obverse and reverse, in its original size and is accompanied not only by full technical and descriptive data but also by a detailed historical account of the commemorated event.
