A splendid tetradrachm from the penultimate year of Titus' reign, which is presented on the obverse with a portrait-bust of high stylistic and physiognomic value. The Homonoia on the reverse is the divine Concord that informed and protected the unfortunately brief reign of the great emperor, described by contemporary historians as the ‘delight of mankind’.
