Nice portrait and patina, Very Fine. Ex Empire Coins, The Winter 1987 Sale, 07.12.1987, lot 569. A very rare obol of Antoninus Pius, known only from the repertories RPC IV. 4 and Emmett. Despite its very small size, the imperial portrait is well engraved and perfectly recognisable, as are the obverse legend and the reverse image with the augural symbols of the harvest, thanks also to the excellent centring of the coin. Its illustration on RPC confirms all the above-mentioned merits.
