Important and valuable drachm of Faustina II Augusta rather circulated but of excellent style both on the obverse in the portrait of the empress and on the reverse with Isis Pharia sailing towards the lighthouse of Alexandria. It should be remembered that it was her father Antoninus Pius who conferred on her the imperial dignity in AD 147 at the birth of her eldest daughter Domitia Faustina, while her husband Marcus Aurelius remained Caesar until the death of his father-in-law in AD 161.
