Another very rare tetradrachm of Maximinus I, featuring the same physiognomic characteristics as the previous specimen, while the reverse presents an unusually elegant and atypical image for the period: Hermanubis Pantheos, semi-nude, holding a caduceus in his left hand. This psychopomp deity, who guided the souls of the dead to the afterlife, is depicted with his faithful jackal at his feet.
