A coin in a wonderful state, practically uncirculated and with a bright, uniform brown patina. The portrait of Claudius II is well drawn in high relief, with careful iconographic research recalling that of the gilded bust in the Museum of Santa Giulia in Brescia, Italy. The image of Selene on the reverse is of equal sculptural quality.
