This tetradrachm, recorded only in the famous Dattari collection to which it belonged, is to all intents and purposes a unicum, quite distinct from the reverse of the next no 343 in this collection, which also refers to Harpokrates, but the canonical one. Sharp, detailed and unmistakable is the unique scene on the reverse with the Harpokrates of Pelusium intent on performing an unknown ritual with a tiny human figure standing next to him. We find the same scene on the reverse of a tetradrachm from the year 15 of Gallienus (267-268 AD) and on one from the year 2 of Claudius II 269-270 AD).
