In Diocletian’s institutional organization of the first tetrarchy, General Galerius appears as Caesar of Diocletian (whose daughter Galeria Valeria he marries) with residence in Sirmium in Pannonia and with the right of succession to the throne at the end of the fixed period of duration of the function and so it happened on May 1, 305 AD. The coin is in extremely fine condition and more, with statuesque relief images and precisely detailed on both sides and with a stunning original brown patina.
