H. 11 cm x L. 12,5 cm ; W. 12 cm Provenance Swiss private collection of Baron O.C.V.L (1937-2022) Emerging and carved from a single alabaster block, two standing ibex (horns missing), with eyes, nose and legs in relief. The muscles volumes of the powerful beast are well-rendered. at the back remains of a plaque which must have been the front part of a libation table.
