H. 12 cm circa Provenance Swiss private collection of Baron O.C.V.L (1937-2022) A finely modelled Chinese Han Dynasty terracotta head of a warrior. Much of the original pigment remains, with black used to delineate the hair, which is centrally parted and slicked back, defined by incised lines. Facial features are nicely rendered with much attention towards details.
