Didia Clara, daughter of Didius Julianus (193 AD). AE Sestertius, Rome mint, 193 AD. Obv. DIDIA CLARA AVG. Draped bust right, hair coiled on back of the head. Rev. [HILAR T]EMPOR SC. Hilaritas standing facing, head left, holding long palm and cornucopiae. RIC IV 20; C. 4. 18.1 g. 28.5 mm. RR. Very rare and superb example, with an exquisite portrait. Unusual and lovely pale green patina with yellow hues. Irrelevant nick on edge on reverse. About EF.
