Ear of barley with leaf to right; to left, META; above leaf, spindle. Johnston Class D 1.1 (for obv.) and 1.4 (for rev.); HN Italy 1612; SNG Fitzwilliam 507 (same rev. die); HGC 1 1066. AR. 7.92 g. 23.5 mm. R. Unrecorded die-coupling. Struck from a fresh pair of dies and preserved in outstanding condition for the type. About FDC.
