Royal Arch Masonic Companion’s Jewel, c. 1900–1920 (35.86 x 20.94 mm, 11.81g). Maker: George Kenning & Son (G.K.&S.), London Material: Silver-mounted ribbed silk ribbon; suspended with an ivory-coloured pendant engraved with Royal Arch symbols A fine early 20th-century Royal Arch Masonic Companion’s jewel, suspended from a vertically ribbed silk ribbon in the traditional purple and white colours of the Order. The ribbon is fitted with ornate silver bars above and below, finely engraved with foliate decoration, and retains its original long pin fastening to the reverse. The jewel is completed by an ivory-coloured pendant of tapering form, engraved on both sides with circular and triangular Royal Arch symbols, including the Triple Tau within a triangle and Hebrew characters arranged around a central circle. The pendant is secured by its original suspension fitting and terminal mount. The reverse of the ribbon mount is clearly stamped G.K.&S. / SILVER, confirming manufacture by George Kenning & Son of London, one of the principal makers of British Masonic regalia during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Condition: Very Fine. Ribbon with light age wear and minor fading consistent with period use; silver mounts with attractive toning; pendant intact with clear engraved detail. A well-preserved and complete Royal Arch jewel with strong visual and symbolic presence.
